The Hyperloop Desert Campus comes from the idea to stablish a stratedic disposition of various volumes settled separatedly, but delimited inside the outline of two large and floating square planes in the middle of the plain.

These square planes are materialized as two enormus concrete slabs wich contain a low rise and free open plan in between, becoming a covered plaza which allows two fundametal functions: to be the servant space as a connector among the volumes; to contain the flexible and multifunctional programme of the campus such as the museum-exhibition space.

On the other hand, the volumes have the fuction to contain the most rigid and immovable pogramme, for a very specific use as served spaces.

The largest and most representative volume is the I+D laboratory, which catches all the protagonism and the essence of the campus, as a consequence of its centred position and due to its glassed surfaces, allowing the visibility of the Hyperloop protoype from almost any angle.
